Snowshoe Hare Hunting
 This
wilderness area has an abundance of snowshoe hare (rabbits).
Most hunters are able to bag their limit. Spend a beautiful
winter day out in the woods hunting with a guide and
his hounds. Use our proven hounds or hunt with your
own. We are proud of our 95% success rate with rabbit hunting from December through March.
For the cold and snowy months of snowshoe hare
hunting, we have snowmobile rentals to get you further
into places to increase your success rate. During January, February and March you should bring your snowshoes so you can walk through the woods without any trouble.

Ruffed Grouse & Woodcock Hunting
 Have
you ever hunted with an English Cocker Spaniel? Our
bird dog, "Joe" has proven himself as a flushing
machine. He lives to hunt partridge! This area has
an abundance of cover that hold lots of partridge (grouse)
and woodcock. In 2006 Joe's son "Levi" joined the team
and is proving to be a great bird hunting dog!
We have teamed up with some great pointers here at Enchanted. They are unbelievable in the cover located in our area. 12 to 30 Flushes a day are not unheard
of. Bird hunting season runs from October through December. Be sure to call
soon and book your hunt as October books up fast!

Payment Types, Payment Terms and Cancellation Policy
- At the time of booking, a 50% deposit is required with a credit card, personal check or money order.
- Deposits are non-refundable, however, deposits are transferable for the exact dates that your hunt was booked. Please try to find someone to use it.
- The balance is due 30 days before arrival with a credit card or money order.
- NO CHECKS ACCEPTED FOR FINAL PAYMENT.
- No refunds will be made after your final payment has been received.

In order to purchase a Maine Hunting License & any tags, you must show your Big Game Hunting license from your home state. You can purchase these online before you arrive, or buy them here at our local General Store.

You're in a beautiful spot for all-season hunting
and fishing. We had fun seeing quite a few birds
if not shooting them (Oh well, I now know you have
to drive slowly to take them off the side of the
road). The last day I hunted I went to Wally's World
gate up the hill you sent me to. I put up a bunch
of woodcock in less than an hour. Saw a big racker
moose chasing two cows in that same road (wonder
what he wanted?). I am bringing your brochures to
my next pheasant club meeting to try to drum up some
customers for you. Hope to see you next bird season
and good luck with the bear referendum (even some
Maine people need an outdoor education, I guess)!"
